Bear takes car for a joyride
Car destroyed in Colorado after inexperienced driver hits the wheel.
An important lesson was demonstrated in Colorado this week - never EVER leave a sandwich on the backseat of your car. That's what 17 year old Ben Story learnt after a scavenging bear got into his vehicle to retrieve a discarded peanut butter sandwich.
The unfortunate animal then found himself trapped after the car door closed behind him. Story believes it must have knocked the gear stick into neutral, sending the Toyota off down the family driveway before it crashed into a thicket. The bear then drew attention to its predicament by pressing on the car horn for 45 minutes.
Local authorities eventually managed to free the animal, but found it had completely destroyed the car's interior, as well as leaving a massive pile of crap on the driver's seat. Charming.
