Bank robber pays sorcerer to make him invisible
Funnily enough, it didn't work out too well...
Let's be honest, criminals are stupid. They're not evil geniuses like Hollywood would so often have you believe. More often than not they're bumbling idiots who turn up to court wearing stolen clothing.
One Iranian man, however, has taken incompetent criminality to a whole new level.
The wannabe-thief walked into a Tehran bank and started to blatantly snatch money out of the hands of customers, before promptly being overpowered.
Seemingly confused about why and how they had stopped him, it later became apparent that he believed he was invisible.
The 'robber' had paid a local man claiming to be a wizard 5 million rials (around £290) in return for spells that would make him invisible and able to rob banks without anyone batting an eyelid.
He told state-run newspaper Jam-e Jam: 'I made a mistake. I understand now what a big trick was played on me.'
