20 more inappropriately misplaced adverts
How unfortunate.
When you're advertising something a bit of humour can go a long way. If an advert is funny, you're more likely to remember it, if you're more likely to remember it then the more chance you have of buying the product right?
Wrong. For a start, if the product is a T-Shirt that makes you look like you've been violently injured (we're looking at you #10) then no one is going to buy it. But even if your product isn't absolutely rubbish, making people laugh by putting a jacket potato advert next to a story about starving children (#3) isn't going to help your cause.
But it will get you reposted online, because the internet, for better or worse, does love a screw up.
