In answer to these questions and more The University of Birmingham in conjunction with Advantage Business Angels is hosting Enterprise Fest 2006 on the 7th March.
ENTERPRISEFEST Registration is now full however feel free to pop into the event on the 7th to check out the stands and take part in the networking
During a buffet lunch delegates will be able to network with financial support agencies and successful entrepreneurs from the University of Birmingham. Our first Keynote Speaker is Mike Southon the successful author of the best selling book The Beermat Entrepreneur. Mike will be giving his views about financing and running a small business.
For further help with finance Advantage Business Angels will be running two workshops entitled "The Missing Venture Capitalists" and "Financing your Business". Delegates will also be able to pick up marketing tips from Michelle Stott from NXO Marketing and hear about how other entrepreneurs have set up successful businesses including James Eder, the Director & Co-Founder of studentbeans.com. Also throughout the event business coach Grace Owen will be available for One2One business advice sessions.
Following the workshops Bill Faust, our second Keynote Speaker, and co-author of "Pitch Yourself" will be giving an effective look at self-marketing.
The event will close with the Bizcom awards. The Vice Chancellor of The University of Birmingham, Professor Michael Stirling, will award the prize of £4000 to the winners of the Business Ideas Competition, Bizcom.
