Present a valid Student card at ANY McDonalds when buying an extra value meal....

...and choose between a FREE McFlurry or Cheese Burger!

Ive managed to get a free mcflurry twice without a NUS card, simply showing my uni ID card :)

On the mcDonalds website it says any student card for the free mcflurry, cheeseburger or hamburger with any extra value meal, but to get the big mac or chicken sandwich and chips for £1.99 you need to have an NUS extra card. I get a free cheeseburger everytime with my non-NUS student card.

That's with an NUS extra card... with a normal NUS you get a free cheese burger or McFlurry with every extra value meal you buy :o)

By the way Courtney... That happened to me at the Mcdonalds at Gatwick and I contacted Mcdonalds and got £10 in vouchers for it! :oD

I work for Maccy D's and I can tell you for a fact that you just need to show an in date student card to get the free flurry or burger, you need to splash out £10 on an NUS card to get the £1.99 mac/sandwich and fries. Also, please don't make a complaint to head office unless the staff are rude to you or something, as it it marked against the store and you make everyone look bad!

Well I'll be making a complaint about the one at gatwick cause they came out with some crap last night that they don't do a free cheese burger after 10! Second time they've tried to get out of doing the offer!

The gatwick one may be franchised LucyChels, in which case i think they have some discretion over offers, otherwise they should at least offer you a burger! Sometimes they turn the milkshake/ice cream machines off when its late though

I agree.. it does say a student card not an NUS card. Iv used this offer at a few McDs in Birmingham and its never been an issue as long as they see a student card.
