Can't let go? A guide to Facebook on your mobile

In the grand history of the world, three discoveries have revolutionised our lives.
These are: the discovery of fire by cavemen, the discovery of electricity by Mr Benjamin Franklin and, of course, the invention of Facebook by some guy.
While the history of 'thefacebook' is of great interest - or maybe not - it really has nothing to do with the following article and so, history buffs go here.
Now for the good stuff. The next best thing since sliced bread, or rather just regular Facebook, is Facebook mobile.
Facebook mobile does exactly what it says on the tin, allowing you to access Facebook on the move.
This 'on-the-go' accessibility comes in especially useful if you are one of those who classes 'updating their Facebook status' up there with breathing and moving.
To access Facebook on your mobile you must first have a phone that is able to connect to the internet.
Assuming your phone is around 12 months old it is fair to say that it will have some sort of ability to connect to the web.
It's always best to check what the deal is with the internet on your phone with your service provider as it can be quite pricey.
With contract phones it is becoming more usual to see fixed-price mobile internet access and this may be beneficial if you're planning on using it a lot.
So, now you've done all that boring stuff, open up the web browser on your phone and type in 'www.facebook.com'- duh!
The people at Facebook are so thoughtful they've made a handy, slimmed down version of their site for using on your mobile phone.
What's more, Facebook itself will know if you're on your phone or not and will load the correct site respectively.
If you're crazy enough to want fully-fledged Facebook on your phone you can click the 'Full site' link but, as I said before, this may be considered an act of insanity.
After you've either logged in or signed up (and then logged in) you'll be taken to the Facebook mobile homepage - what fun. 12»
