Remember, remember....bangers, treacle and plot
The warmthof the bonfire, colourful crackles across the sky and the extremely invitingscent of the burger van wafting across the field...it might seem like a bargainat the time for your hungry mind but four quid for a cheeseburger is hardly fulfillingis it?
So what isit that students love eating on bonfire night?
Tom, a student from Sheffield said"You can't go wrong with sausages or burgers but they can be really expensivefor what you are getting".
So, insteadof munching away on greasy fast food, take a look at these delicious snacks youcan take with you.
They are funto make and to eat, all washed down with some tasty hot chocolate or ascrumptious bonfire cocktail. Lovely stuff.
1.Ministicky sausages
Mix 1tbsp of soy sauce with 2 tbsp of runny honey and brush over a packetof pre-cooked cocktail sausages.
Place in the oven on a baking trayat 200°C, gas mark 6 for 12 minutes untilsticky dark brown.
Wrap them in tin foil to keep warm and take along some cocktail sticks tokeep your fingers clean!
2.Bakedpotatoes
Put your spud in the oven for a good hour until soft to squeeze andcrispy on the outside.
Fill with anything you like (maybe not beans though, it could get messy!)and again wrap in foil to keep nice and hot.
3.ChocolateBananas
A bonfire night favourite. Slit the banana skin and stuff the space withbroken pieces of chocolate.
Wrap the banana in foil and place in the embers of your bonfire or barbequefor 10 minutes for a gorgeous caramelised chocolate mess!

4.Hotchocolate
If you are feeling fancy, heat some milk in a pan until steaming hot, buttake care not to boil it.
Add some chocolate in pieces and slowly stir until it is all melted. Pourinto a flask and take extra cups for sharing.
You can also add brandy, whiskey, or a cream liqueur such as Baileys tomake it a bit naughtier...
If you are having a fireworks party at home, try out these bonfirecocktails.
You could even add an indoor cocktail sparkler to make it a bit morespecial.
