Celebrity fashion lines
This question now comes with the easiest of answers as those oh so fashionable celebrity moguls have decided to extend their empires and make sharp dressers of us all.
Delving out of their comfort zones and designing fashion lines seems to be the 'it' thing to do these days, with everyone from Gwen Stefani to Kelly Brook having something to their name.
But why would young people even want to buy these clothes? Assuming of course that they are the proposed demographic. Are they even worth it?
I think it has become obvious that the target demographic, i.e., fans of the celebrities, would want to buy from the various fashion lines as they aspire to look like the famous face that they idolise.
But, what is more interesting, is how the fashion lines have become more like brand names or labels, such as Chanel, where people feel proud to wear clothes from the lines.
The fact that the lines reflect the styles of the celebrity, makes it easier for fans to re-create the look.
However, I am at a loss as to why this cannot be done on the high street or via other cheaper options.
Perhaps it is because the glamorous elitist could not then charge extortionate prices with which to fill their already sparkling bank accounts.
The celebrity lines that are on review are: Kate Moss for Topshop, Roca Wear by Jay-Z and Billionaire Boys Club by Pharrell Williams.

Roca Wear
Jay Z's label follows the theme of street/denim.
Hugely reflective of that blinged-up bad boy style, which is smoking' on the streets right now, however, looking at the prices, some fans may have to actually raid some bling to buy from the line.
Rating: 6/10 - average style, with a bit too much denim for my liking and high prices. Stick to the beats Jay.
Kate Moss - Topshop
Being one of the most rendered style icons and with every outfit having a post-mortem, it is understandable that the Vogue cover girl would design her own line.
Yes, the line is very true to her style, and seems to go hand in hand with the average Topshop demographic looking for on trend clothes with that extra bit of a kooky twist.
Rating: 8/10. Great style, average price.
Billionaire Boys Club/Ice Cream
"Wealth is of the heart and mind. Not the pocket".
Maybe this is why Mr. Williams charges $185 for a sweatshirt?!
Funky, quirky style which is surprising, coming from the hip hop star.
Rating: 8/10. Great style, cool clothes, over pricing.
