September Entertainment review
Whilst the summer is winding down and minds are beginning to turn to the thought of essay deadlines and missed lectures there are still many distractions available in the world of entertainment.
Of course you need look no further than the writers of the Beanzine Entertainment Channel for various suggestions of how to occupy yourself and hopefully this Editor's Monthly Review should highlight any articles you may have missed along the course of the last month.
Sometimes it's good to look back and reminisce over your holiday highlights and Halina Watts' review of 'Joanna Newson at Somerset House' provides an entrancing account of this much anticipated one-off UK show.
If you want to wean yourself onto the books again without submerging yourself in statistics though, Leanne Bennett's 'Five Books Every Student Should Read' gives you an excellent selection of novels to choose from, including some old favourites and less well known examples.
However, whilst with winter drawing you have good reason to spend your days curled up in the warmth you still have no excuse to be sitting around in the evening.
So follow Kirsty Birkett-Stubbs' sage advice in Local talent Rocks! and get out on the town to check out your local music scene.
