Reviewed! Ministry of Sound Clubber's Guide
Both your holiday tan and the sunshine are fading fast, but luckily Ministry of Sound have thrown you a lifeline!
Buy their Clubber's Guide to Summer 2008, turn it up loud and imagine you're back in the Ibiza sunshine.
So what's the deal? Spawned from the dirty depths of the Ministry in 1998, the Clubber's Guide is just what it says on the tin: a colour by numbers guide to what you'll be bopping to for the rest of 2008.
It's the most comprehensive list of the year's anthems available, and this time around it is "bigger and better than ever" according to its creators, due to the addition of a third CD.
There's no doubt it will sell well, due to the massive brand power of Ministry of Sound, but is it any good?
The short answer is, yes. The tracks range from chart toppers like September's 'Cry For You'and the recent hit from the Freemason's, 'When You Touch Me', through to Basement Jaxx's quality remix of Adele's 'Cold Shoulder', via some unexpected gems like Audio Bully's new offering 'Gimme That Punk' which definitely deserves a second listen.
But the real surprise of the compilation, proving that sometimes quantity can mean quality, is the razor sharp third disc.
Tracks from the likes of Hervé, Cromeo and Zoo save the CD from its major downfall, being sometimes a little bit too safe.

So rave safe in the knowledge that the Clubber's Guide is now covering all the bases when it comes to good, current dance music.
Also, unlike some similar dance music compliations, the Clubber's Guide is mixed seamlessly making it the ideal CD to stick on at your housewarming party in September while you relax and enjoy all the credit!
Now that you're convinced, check out the mini guide below, before you run off to see what your ears have been missing.
