Hollywood's rolling out the blockbusters in May

Top of the hot list for all movie lovers and definitely one of the most anticipated movies of the year so far is Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

The fourth Indy movie, out on the 22nd of May, marks the return of the rugged yet somewhat charming Harrison Ford back on the screen, reprising his role as the much loved archaeologist who has a bit of a knack for getting himself into dangerous waters.

Supporting him in this film is the rising star and extremely talented Shia Labeouf, and also Oscar winner Cate Blanchett.

The main plot of the film has been kept under a very tight wrap but with the legendary George Lucas and Steven Spielberg writing the storyline and directing the film, I predict much action and adventure in this fast paced comeback.

From one action movie to another, Iron Man is also making a striking appearance in a cinema near you from the 2nd of May.

Based on the popular comic book by Marvel Comics, it follows the story of a billionaire industrialist, Tony Stark (Robert Downy Jr.), who is kidnapped for his brilliant mind and ingenuity to build a dangerous weapon, but being the super hero that he is, he decides to fight evil and instead builds himself a rather amazing suit of armour, becomes Iron Man and guarantees to protect the world. Hooray!

Supported by an all star cast including Gwyneth Paltrow and Terrance Howard, I think this movie is not just for comic book buffs and would make a thrilling watch.

From something a bit dark and adventurous to more light hearted and fun. They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas - well that's not the case for Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher in their new rom - com release on the 9th of May.

What Happens in Vegas, follows two people who coincidentally meet in a Vegas casino and wake up the next morning married (surprise surprise), but the plot twists further as the newlyweds win three million dollars and so try to out each other out of the marriage in order to get the money.

If it's a more easy going film you're after to ease the stresses of the student exam period, this laid back rom - com is perfect but will also be hitting your funny bone in all the right places with the goofs rolling out one after the other.
