Entertainment pick of the week (September 5th)

Hi, I'm Rob, the editor of the entertainment channel on Beanzine and hopefully through the virtue of this weekly column your guide to the most exciting releases and events in the world of entertainment.

I thought though, that I'd start this journey with a something that everyone appreciates... a sale.

So if your inbox hasn't already been spammed with constant reminders you may be glad to hear Play.com are currently running their 'Everything for £5 Sale'.

Of course, not everything is five pounds, it's actually a couple of gems and a lot of really awful teen-movies but I've filtered through and found an item you may well appreciate.

The 'Juno Soundtrack' has rarely been off my stereo this summer and with good reason.

At 19 tracks long it's opened eyes to the wonderful world of Kimya Dawson along with a whole host of other more established and obscure artists.

Having been expertly pieced together to fit the tone of the film you can expect the same mix of carefree youth and wistful experience that make the full length feature such a classic.

However, if you're still not satisfied with this choice there are thousands of other titles on offer so until next time happy bargain hunting.
