Maxi Sopo fled to Cancun, Mexico after swindling $200,000 from banks in the Seattle area. But he got a major case of the all-too-familiar Facebook status bragging syndrome, hinting at his riches by telling his friends: 'living in paradise' and 'loving it'.
He probably should have remembered that he'd added a former Justice Department official to his list of friends...
