Softening the blow of losing out on these delights is the news that coffee can be a positive thing in getting the most out of that big spongey grey walnut in your skull.
Recent studies have shown regular coffee consumption to reduce the risk of mental decline and diseases such as dementia and Alzheimer's. The coffee bean is rich with antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins and minerals - all great stuff for the brain.
Obviously a double-mocha-whoppa-frappy-nappy-ccino with all the accompanying sugar and fat would totally destroy the benefits of the pure bean - so an espresso or americano is best.
