Nick Clegg calls young people c****

The deputy PM - already public enemy number one for students - has shown his true colours, calling young people c**ts in an interview with the BBC.

First he convinces you all that he’s a nice guy, working with your best interests at heart - vowing to scrap university tuition fees.

Then he sells you down the river - agreeing to join his new best mate ‘Dave’ Cameron in a coalition that ends up raising tuition fees to £9,000 per year.

Surely Nick Clegg couldn’t do anything to make himself more unpopular with the nation’s young people - right? Wrong.

In an interview with the BBC the deputy Prime Minister was talking about his plans to combat youth unemployment when he uttered the phrase: ‘Every 18 to 24-year-old c**t in this country...’

Did he realise what he said? Did he in fact say it on purpose? Probably not - but let’s pretend he did. It’s much funnier that way.

The quote in question can be found roughly 30 seconds in to the video below - it’s even funnier than you can possibly imagine.

Clegg’s slip of the tongue comes just days after a BBC weatherman dropped the C-bomb during a live weather forecast. There must be something in the water at that place...
