2011 Festival Preview
A look ahead to some of next year's biggest festivals - which one will you go to?
Glastonbury
When? 22nd-26th June, 2011
Where? Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset
How much? £195 weekend camping ticket
Tickets Tickets for Glastonbury 2011 sold out in four hours. However, there will be a re-sale of cancelled tickets in Spring 2011. Register here for a chance to buy them. There are also a few opportunities to volunteer for litter picking, stewarding and medical staff - look here for more information.
Rumoured Line-up? Some of the names thrown about so far include Beyonce, Coldplay, Kylie, and Prince. U2 have also hinted that they might perform after having to drop out last year when Bono underwent back surgery. The band told fans to 'watch this space' on their website since a gap in their schedule next June makes performing at Glasto 'a possibility'.
Reading and Leeds

When? 26th-28th August, 2011
Where? St Johns Farm, Reading and Bramham Park, nr. Wetherby
How much? Weekend tickets were £180 last year, but may go up by as much as £10.
Tickets A limited number of tickets will go on sale at 9am on December 3rd 2010. Tickets will then go on general sale next spring, when the line-ups are announced. You can volunteer for stewarding through Oxfam.
Rumoured Line-up? The Sun has reported that The Strokes 'are in the frame to headline Reading and Leeds festivals next year'. The Foo Fighters are also rumoured after confirming two other UK dates next summer, whilst Red Hot Chili Peppers' drummer Chad Smith told Music Radar 'The Peppers have festival dates booked for the summer of 2011 already', sparking suggestions they would headline Reading and Leeds.
Isle of Wight

When? 10th-12th June 2011
Where? Seaclose Park, Isle of Wight
How much? £175 weekend camping ticket.
Tickets Buy now from the website. Tickets are reportedly selling out fast.
Confirmed Line-up? Friday night headliners will be Kings of Leon, with Foo Fighters on the bill for Saturday and Kasabian lined up for Sunday. The big news is that Pulp, fronted by Jarvis Cocker, will be making their comeback, performing together for the first time since December 2002. Pulp will be appearing on the main stage on Saturday evening. Festival organiser John Giddings has also said there will be 'more entertainment' in 2011 during an interview with Virtual Festivals.

V Festival

When? 19th-21st August 2011
Where? Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire
How much? This year's ticket prices have not yet been confirmed, although 2010 tickets cost £165 for weekend camping.
Tickets Tickets will go on sale in March 2011. If you want to volunteer, there is information about security, stewarding, bar and traffic marshalling opportunities here.
Bestival

When? 8th-11th September 2011
Where? Robin Hill Country Park, Downend, Isle of Wight
How much? £150 for a student weekend camping ticket (valid NUS or ISIC ID required), otherwise £160.

Rumoured acts? 2011's acts are still TBC but with a line-up handpicked by Radio 1's Rob Da Bank, you can expect some big names alongside completely unknown acts and a variety of genres including dance, indie, hip hop. jazz, pop and much more.
