Condoms are free from Family Planning clinics. That’s F-R-E-E.

A lot of people don’t realise it, but here it is in the Family Planning Association’s own words;

"You can obtain free contraception (this includes male and female condoms), including emergency contraception, from:

• a general practice, unless they say they don’t provide contraception services

• a contraception clinic or a sexual health clinic

• a young people’s service (these will have an upper age limit)

• some genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinics."

There’s even a handy clinic finder. Just pop in your postcode and it’ll tell you the nearest place to go and collect your free condoms.

So there you go, and with govt. cuts, tuition fees, and receiving a generally raw deal at the moment, we'd say you're more than entitled to some free protection. No more sex tax.

The only downside, is you won’t get any speciality condoms (ribbed, ultra thin, flavoured, performance and certainly not an erection boosting ‘viagra’ condom) it’s pretty much get what you’re given - usually a standard extra safe.

Whilst you organise getting yourself out of your love den and down to the clinic, these folks will send you some free condoms to your door (and are good sources for those speciality types);
