Boskoops is a city centre café and deli that opened its doors in September 2005. It's located on the first floor, opposite Newcastle's Grey's Monument, with high ceilings inside and two small outside seating areas with umbrellas for al fresco dining in summer. Everything is prepared here using fresh, natural and local ingredients with dishes free from preservatives, additives and unwelcome fat. Opening hours are from 8.30am to 5.30pm (10am-4pm on Sundays) for breakfasts and a range of hot and cold dishes including salads, quiches, and a choice of daily specials. Boskoops is licensed, so you can enjoy a beer or a glass of wine with your meal, and they also have wi-fi internet access and a choice of newspapers for you to browse.
