Neil Reading PR is a highly creative entertainment, consumer and lifestyle PR agency based in Central London. Two members of our entertainment division are relocating to Edinburgh this August to look after the publicity for more than 20 comedy shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We are looking for a Press Assistant intern for the duration of the festival. Your responsibilities will include looking after press cuttings, following up with journalists, attending shows, helping to organise schedules and generally assisting a very busy press team and client list.
We will be required in the office from 9am and will be working until 6pm, followed by attending shows in the evening from Monday to Sunday, from 1st - 26th August. Although you will be working a seven day week, you will gain invaluable experience in Comedy PR, and get to see great shows, as well as meet lots of influential people within the industry. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking for a career in public relations, the comedy industry or in the media in general. The position is unpaid, but we can offer a contribution to travel expenses.
