Horny crocs renamed William and Kate

Australia pays tribute to the Royal couple in their own, special way

Not a day goes by when we don't hear about the recent Royal engagement. The news has caused quite a stir across the globe - even at Australia's Crocosaurus Cove, where a pair of crocs have been renamed after the couple.

Why? Because these two crocodiles like to get down and dirty. Erm, right...

'It's totally out of character for crocs,' manager Nigel Palmer has said. 'Sometimes she is not so receptive but he certainly is and he will humbug her.'

Humbug??

'The kids get inquisitive, they don't know what is going on,' Palmer explains. 'For the parents I think it takes away from the pressure of that sit down talk later on in life.' Yeah, because it's much easier to have 'the talk' next to a tank of frisky predators, in front of a bunch of strangers.

We're still not entirely sure why a horny pair of crocs should be named after royalty but we're sure William and Kate are very proud of the association, regardless.
