Aged 16-25 and passionate about radio? Want to be part of a reporting team covering the London 2012 Games?
Round 1 will be broadcasting from a canal boat in East London during London 2012. Get involved to receive training and develop your broadcast skills as part of a team creating exciting, varied audio content during the Games.
If you’re committed to developing a career in the radio industry, this is a great chance to hone your skills. You’ll get training in core radio skills and outside broadcasts, and hands-on experience making a high-quality radio show as you: Develop your radio production, journalism and feature-making skills.

Participants will need:
* Intermediate/advanced level of radio experience
* Ability to deliver to deadlines
* Confidence developing features independently
* Commitment to being a proactive team member
* Ability to commit to training & volunteering on the dates below.
Training
* 6 weekend sessions, 11am – 5pm on: 23 & 30 Jun; 7, 8, 21 & 22 Jul
* 4 evening sessions, 6-9pm on: 26 Jun, 3, 10, 17 Jul
Production volunteering
2 days a week during the Olympics (Tue 24 July - Sun 12 Aug) and Paralympics (Tue 28 Aug - Mon 10 Sept).
Cost
The project will cost £32, with bursaries are available on enquiry. All participants will receive FREE Roundhouse Emerging Artist membership.
